We simply adore this couple. Danielle and Ryan are such sweet, fun-loving people that it just makes you smile to be around them. They chose the beautiful Covered Bridge Weddings and Events Center at the historic Butts Mill Farm in scenic Pine Mountain, GA, just a short drive from Columbus. Danielle and Ryan decided that they didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, but they did want to be able to talk and give each other one last kiss before the ceremony, so the bride created blindfolds so there wouldn't be any peeking. I adore how those images turned out, it was a very sweet and calm moment in the midst of what typically is a crazy hectic day. The day started with a bit of rain(ok more like a torrential downpour that began suddenly during the bridal party portraits, which led to us running with the bride while covering her with our reflector to shield her from the rain! haha) But shortly before the ceremony, the rain stopped and the sun emerged. We even saw a rainbow cover the farm during the reception, such a lovely memory for these two. Danielle and Ryan handmade most of the decor, which was such a unique personal stamp they put on their special day. Scroll down to take a look at the amazing bouquets the bride created for her bridal party, so cute!
From horses and carriage rides, to beautiful handcrafted burlap details with dashes of Star Wars thrown in, this wedding was definitely one to remember, and we were honored to be a part of it. Enjoy!
